The Townsville Choral Society.
The Choral Society brings together ordinary people from within the community who share a love of choral music. It started in 1906 (as the Townsville Musical Union) and in 2006 celebrated its centenary year. In this time the society has produced 76 musicals and thousands of choral items to entertain the public.

NEW MEMBERS
The society is always on the lookout for new members. As long as you are a keen singer, you do not have to be a soloist- You need to have the rudiments of singing and be able to hold a melody - the conductor will do the rest. Call the secretary and arrange to come to rehearsals to listen and try for yourself.
Membership is $55 per year and for this you get to rehearse in an airconditioned hall. |
